It's been two months since my Goldilocks Mastectomy surgery, and I am starting to get back into my favourite summer sports. I can do some light kayaking, which is great!
Swimming seems to be ok too, although I haven't tried any serious swimming yet, just hanging about in the lake so far. I still float very well, even with the Baby Bears.
I find that it is still very important to do the stretches given to me by my physiotherapist. I do them in the morning and evening, and they are helping to keep my flexibility. This one is lying on a big foam roller and stretching in in "T", and then in a "Y". Some light strength exercises have just been added - so I will have to start those.
