Well, I didn't ever expect to find myself at a place the specializes in permanent makeup, since I never EVER wear makeup. However, the baby bears looked a little unfinished, since they did not have any areola/nipples. One option is to get areola/nipples tattoos, which give the illusion of real areola/nipples. I looked around Montreal for a place that can do this, and the one I picked was the one that replied to my e-mail. It was Carmen from "Wake Up with Makeup" (http://www.wakeupwithmakeup.ca) who replied to me. She offers a variety of services, but areola/nipple tattoos for breast cancer patients is one of her specialties.
We had two sessions, spaced six weeks apart. The first session was a bit longer, because she had to select the correct colours, and Carmen had to figure out the correct size, given that the Baby Bears are smaller than ordinary breasts. The second session basically puts a second layer of the colour, and also puts on the circle/shadow which gives the impression of a nipple.
It actually hurt more than I expected, but was tolerable. For the second session I went to the dentist in the morning and then had the tattoo done in the afternoon - thus putting all the uncomfortable things on one day! The week after each session is also a bit of a pain as the tattooed area needs to heal. However, I was very pleased with the overall effect, and now the Baby Bears are complete!
I won't post my pictures, but Carmen has an online portfolio, which you can find at:
